Christian education opportunities are available for ages three through adult.
Sunday School
Sunday School from 9:40 - 10:35 a.m. is placed directly between our two worship services. Sunday School is open to 2-year-olds and their parents through 5th grade. Route 67 (a middle school program) meets at the same time.
SPARK is a brand new curriculum published by Augsburg Fortress that is being used in Sunday School. The Bible is the textbook! Preschool through second grade students will use the SPARK STORY BIBLE while those in third through fifth grade will use the SPARK NRSV BIBLE. Children open the Bible and engage with God’s Word each and every week. Age-specific Bible goals set for each age level help ensure children interact and engage with their Bibles in age appropriate ways. Spark has been designed by children’s education experts to accommodate all the different ways children learn. Watch them grow in their faith by encountering God’s Word while participating in activities that reinforce the Bible stories.
Classes are taught by volunteer members of the congregation by “team teaching”. Students have the same teachers for the entire school year.

Wednesday School
Wednesday School begins at 4:45 - 5:45. This program is for students three years old through fifth grade. We have an After-School Program available for students in grades 1 - 5 with rides available directly from the schools to Bethlehem from 3:00 - 4:45 p.m.
Wednesday School begins again this fall in a B.I.G. way. Live B.I.G. helps children see, hear and live their Belief In God. Published by Morehouse this Wednesday School curriculum offers a short video segment that brings faith-filled, high-energy excitement to the children. It, along with the Group Publishing Hand’s On Bible curriculum, helps children come to know the love of God through Jesus. These resources are designed to excite and enrich your children’s spiritual lives by bringing their everyday real world into Wednesday School and applying what they learn in Wednesday School to their everyday lives. It’s kids living God’s love together and then sharing it with others.
