Lent Midday Services: Stones of Hope Lent is a chance to be honest about the truth: we are dust and to dust we shall return. But, that's not God's last word for us. We can also be honest about the hope that faith in Jesus Christ gives us. Dr Martin Luther King Jr, during his famous I Have a Dream speech, preached, "Out of the mountain of despair, a stone of hope." Dr King reminds us to find the stones of hope to hold onto that may remind us of God's faithfulness--no matter what happens in life. Join us each week, as we discover a new stone of hope, built on the rock of God's Word, to hold onto throughout Lent--and throughout our lives!
